Why cant we see god??

Ever wondered why can't we see God?

I grew up in India and born to a Hindu family, so as Hindus we are taught from our very childhood about God and taught to Worship God every day and to have faith in him as God is our heavenly father.

It is said that there are 3300000 God and Goddess according to Hinduism and as a kid I was really fascinated to know everything about God and would ask my grandmother all sort of stories and everything possible I could ask to fulfill my curiosity.

One of my question that I used to ask each and every one I thought could answer me was that "Why can't we see God?"

But to my surprise, I never got a satisfactory answer and some would try to ignore my question. I personally was very curious and used to watch all kind of mythological series, all the episodes and series related to Hindu gods and two of the epics-

I then came up with my own explanation of "Why can't we see God?"

I don't want to hurt the feeling of anyone or trying to make fun out of it. It's my take on why I believe we can't see God nowadays.
So as we all have read or watched two of the epics and also heard stories about all. Earlier when God used to come and visit humans when they take the name of God with a pure heart and Devote a great deal of time praying and doing Tapasya(Meditation). And when God would be pleased with their devotion and Tapasya would grant them a wish.

The human devotee would then ask for some powers and after getting all the powers from God would develop an attitude and be filled with negative ego and would compare themselves to God and would dream of taking the Place of God. This human then would chase God in an attempt to prove themselves strong with the help of the powers they earned from Meditating the same God. Gods, on the other hand, could not disrespect the powers which God Himself granted, so a some other God had to come up and kill that Human turned Rakshasa or fooling him to take his own life.

So as a result may be God at a point of time became frustrated and understood that human will always misuse the powers for a different cause for their own benefit but not for helping another human being in need.
This is happening around the world where after getting a power in their hands, they would only use them for their own benefit. May it be a politician or be it any higher authority in any field.
